Production of music video

Skills development;

A brief overview of what new editing skills i have learned during the editing of mine and my gruops music video.

Previously i have found myself to be quite anxious to participate in editing, i have always believed through the course of AS that i and editing do not get along. I always preferred to do the cutting and pasting of footages  compared to adding special effects and transitions.

Through A2 however instead of standing in the back and watching i had the thrive to get stuck in. Through editing our music video i believe i have been able to enhance my skills from previous editing of AS.
I believe i have gained a sound amount of knowledge in terms of editing to the beat. I personally believe that this is a very important factor in producing a  music video, as it creates the base and flow, potentially attracting  the target audience.

I have also been able to understand what pace a music video should include, which is fundamental in intriguing the audience, through out the editing of mine and my groups editing i have been able to incorporate a variety of pace levels, from it being very upbeat to very slow. I believe i have been able to do this by moving 1shot from another, incorporating transitions in between such as dissolve and fade.

In all being able to the all the above i believe that i have learnt valuble skills that i can use in aiding me in the near future.
