Researching Ancillary products; importance and function of digipaks to the music industry.

Digipaks typically consist of a gatefold (book-style) paperboard or card stock but usually made of just thick cardboard. It also consists of outer binding, with one or more plastic trays capable of holding a CD or DVD attached to the inside.

A digipak is all about adding value, ecouraging us to part with out money for something and 'extra' plays on our love of music. A digipak is essential in order to attract that attention of the audience.
