Researching Ancillary Work

Analysis of 3 digipaks that relate to my genre;

I believe that both the above digipak audience and genre match my my audience and genre, as it clearly seems to be an album trying to appeal to the teenage market. The good points about this digipak is that the use of colours compliment the artist picture, this allows the artist stand out in such a way that it intrigues interest on the minds of the audience. Another good point about this digipak is something that is appeared in a majority of digipaks and that is the list of tracks created by the artist that is included in the following album. I love the way all the text on the above digipak is the same font, this creates an mature appeal, resembling the teenage/young adult market, whish reflects my digipak audience.

The above digipak really stands out to as being an digipak that covers all the conventions of ancillary product.In this digipak verything is in place, as it all seems to link in and therefore connects with each aspect.The font is clear and really goes with the artist and genre.All pictures are in focus and the artist has also followed the 'three colour rule' using yellow, green and white. These colours work well with eachother and also hold a significance. This is becuase a tree is green and they have followed the this colour throughout the whole digipak.

One thing that i most like about this digipak is the use of the consistent texture of sand in the background using the sand throughout the front and back of the digipak brings the whole production as a whole, this is something i intend to do in my digipak. This digipak simmilar to the above includes a barcode which i crucial in all digipak especially if they are intended to be sold as part of the track.
