Upon enter Blakes music website we come arcross the above where we are introduced to his latest music video and a series of tabs below that narrows down our search. The use of entering the website and being welcomed by Blakes music and video attracts the browser making them feel attached.
Upon clicking on 'music' we are introduced to a lsit of James Blakes songs that are available for listening to . By providing an extra tab called music intigues the fellow browser to hear and see the kind of music Blake produces, this allows the browser to gain an insight as to what kind of a genre Blake is situated to.
The store navigation tab allows the target audience come arcross a page where they can purchase Blake's music, the inclusion of the 'store' tab allows the browser feel appealed and encouraged to purchase his music.
The inclusion of the 'live' navigation tab sets arcross something unusual, it creates an intrige and allows the browser keep up to date with where Blake is and where he could possibly be spotted/seen. Upon clicking on 'live' the browser is able to find out where Blake is/will be performing, if it is close by to the browser and they lie Blake's music it may encourage them to purchase a live show ticket.
Upon entering 'friends' the browser is introduced to a contact/info page in which they can gain details as to how they can contact Blake, find out about him and become a member of his fan group via social network.
Overall the importantce of the artists webpage is to increase sales by promoting their Brand, image and songs.
