I believe this video is excellent as it follows all of the techniques used to make a successful song.
This video is a mini movie about how a unattractive girl who has a crush on a high school football player is self-conscious about her beauty, only to get a make over and to become the 'star of the party'. This video follows the ever popular theme of music videos in which everything works out in the end.
This video is set in the 90's. This is shown through the use of props such as:
- Fluorescent coloured clothing
-Odd ear rings
- Large spectacles
- Liquid wax gel
- Oversized braces
