Research for Music Video

Review your favourite previous student video

In lesson, we watched 3 past music videos and had to pick our favourite. We looked at what makes a video a good video, these included:

• Holding shot steady where appropriate
• Framing shot appropriately
• Variety of shot distances
• Material appropriate
• Appropriate mise-en-scene
• Editing to make meaning clear
• Varied shot transitions.
• Using sound with images and editing appropriately

My favorite video was this video as it included all of the above points and scored a near perfect 39 out of 40 point!
