Blake's music video is pretty much simple and vague but is also effective. The music video is remotely based around lighting effects and Blake singing, it allows the audience focus completely on the song and Blake as it avoids the use of heavy Mis-En-Scene usually visual in Katy Perry's and Lady Gaga's music videos. Throughout the video we see a number of edits that are achievable for me and my group to imitate such as a blurry/steamy intro, sound of water drops and hints of colour change. In the video Blake is standing still in front of a light blue background singing with no use of dance, costume change or props. This was one of the main reasons why i and my group thought this will be the best song choice to create a music video for.
What i and my group will do different in our music video;
In James Blake's music video, the actual video itself is in the form of Disjuncture. Our music video will be Amplification.

I would really like to create a music video for this song that involves simplicity similar to the original video. below is a bullet pointed list of all the things that will differ from the original video if my group agree with me.
I would like to include the following in the music video created by me and my group;
- I would love to film our music video in a studio or in a community hall/room.
- I would love to dress all the walls with white drapes with a fan blowing them,
- Place a piano or key board in the centre of the room which our lead singer will play whilst singing,
- Surround the round with scattered white and black petals and lighted candles.
