Creating Advert for album

 

In order to produce/create my advert it was necessary for me to open up a A4 blank page on photo shop element.

 

In order to create an advert it is necessary to add text informing the release date and other related information. As you can see above to include text i had to click on the tool bar on the left of the A4 blank page where i clicked the text tab and draw a text box, which inside of i entered my desired text.

From i album cover i decided to incorporate the Japanese writing of 'A Night In Tokyo' the title of the CD cover. In order to do this i had to highlight the the writing and copy and paste it from the cover to the advert.

Using the tool bar on the side of Photo Shop Element i was able to increase and reduce the font size

In order to add the more professional look to my advert i decided to incorporate the HMV logo, which i done by print screening the image ctrl,shift,4 and then opening it from the file desktop print screen.

All that i have left to do to my advert is add a image of the actual album cover, which i intend to do in tomorrows lesson.
