Reflection on skills learnt during lip-synch tutorial:

The lip-synch tutorial last year June, was definitely a learning curve - for the first time I learnt the importance of a base track, and was shown an alternative editing technique to linear editing. During the lip-synch tutorial and having to edit a music video that I hadn't seen any of the footage before, really struck home the importance of editing "to the beat" of a song as opposed to a narrative.

I also learnt the importance of adding "markers" to your video editing timeline to make sure that all lip-synching" was done in proper timing with the song.
