Quick bullet pointed list of technical skills developed during the course of the AS year;
Below are bullet points of all the technical skills I believe I have learnt during the course of the AS year;
Film making:
In order to proceed with the film making it was necessary to be able to work around the JVC cameras
· It was required to be able to turn the camera on
· Insert the SanDisk memory cards accurately
· Work my way around the cameras functions
· Play back the recorded footage
· Be able to dim/increase the background lighting

Editing
For the progression of my thriller opening it was essential to be able to edit the footage to its best.
· In order to glue all the obtained footage and combine it in to 1 product it was required to be able to use Final cut Pro
· Using final cut pro i learnt how to cut and glue footage together
· I then learnt how to add titles on the created opening
· I also learnt how to render camera footage
· Adjust the angle, crop and rotate footages gathered
An alternative to ignore adding titles created in Final Cut Pro on the created thriller opening was to create titles in Live Type.
· Live type is a specially designed programme on Apple Mac which allows ordinary individuals create similar titles to the ones that are seen in big time Hollywood movies.
· Using Live type it was vital to be able to alter the font design size and colour
· Live type also contained a variety of backgrounds which an individual could use to accompany their titles to add detail and create intrigue.

Once titles had been in place it was essential to include sound to accompany the thriller opening.
· To produce a piece of sound to accompany the thriller opening it was vital to use Sound Track Pro
· On Sound Track Pro it was very simple to create a track as it contained a variety of different instruments, which combined creates a sound track.
· On sound track pro it was possible to alter the bass, tempo and the speed the track flowed
